Guests can withdraw to the Disney version of the Great Northwest, complete with tall timber and a 12-story geyser that shoots into the air every hour. Entering the eight-story lobby, with floor-to-ceiling views of rock formations and winding streams, guests will savour Native American-style carvings and decor creating the feel of a lakeside lodge. The resort has an outside pool with a waterfall and slide, hot and cold spa tubs, a fitness center, a marina with boat rentals and fishing excursions, a het up pool and nightly campfires with sing-alongs. Boats ferry guests across Bay Lake to the Magic Kingdom Park, and transportation to all Disney World Resorts is available at the lodge. The Lodge as well offers the Cub's Den Children's Activities Center, an arcade, an achromatic sand beach on Bay Lake, watercraft rentals and bicycle rentals. Guests can too schedule Fireworks cruises. Lodge guests have a variety of dining choices. The Artist Point serves reliable and fresh Pacific Northwest cuisine, with bird's-eye views of Bay Lake. Family-style buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the Whispering Canyon Café, offering barbecue favorites for lunch and dinner. For appetizers and drinks, guests can see the Territory Lounge, or savour poolside treats at the Trout Pass Pool Bar. All 727 guestrooms have patios or balconies and décor reminiscent of historical National Park lodges. Mission-style furnishings in warm woods and colourful quilted bedspreads give guestrooms a rustic and cheerful atmosphere. Guestroom amenities include Internet access, voicemail and in-room safes.
